I care deeply about the success of all students and believe every child deserves access to a high-quality education. With my dedication to listening, collaborating, and making informed, student-centered decisions, we can help shape a future where schools are strong, teachers feel supported, and families are engaged partners in education.

I have what it takes to be a good school board member. Having been on a school board, I know and understand the time, energy, and communication, and I have the knowledge and skills it takes to make hard decisions, listen, and collaborate with others. As a parent of children in the Timpanogos school district and an educator with a vast array of experiences, I have the leadership, knowledge, experience, and skills to hit the ground running in November to collectively establish a strong district together. I will listen to all educators, parents, and community members’ concerns and work with the other board members to come together to make the best decisions for our students. 

Building a school district is a massive, multifaceted endeavor that combines vision, planning, legal groundwork, community engagement, and operational logistics. Splitting a district takes collaboration, problem-solving, and partnering with educators, parents, community members, and the other school board members to ensure a bright future for all our students.

A good school board member is a thoughtful, community-minded leader committed to all students' success and well-being. They listen actively to the voices of parents, educators, and students and make informed decisions based on data, research, and their district's unique needs. Integrity, transparency, and collaboration are key traits, as is the ability to respectfully engage in dialogue, even when opinions differ. A strong school board member advocates for equity and excellence in education, supports responsible budgeting, and works to ensure that schools are safe, inclusive, and well-resourced learning environments. Most importantly, they keep student achievement and opportunity at the center of every decision.
